OK I’ll start out by saying I hate very much dislike snow because in our neck of the woods you are stuck and it makes me claustrophobic! *giggle* That said it IS sorta pretty considering the “heavy snowstorms” we get are generally about 2 inches tops! I’d say so far we’re probably up to 8 inches and it’s still falling, but supposed to stop during the night and peak at around a foot. All the fluffy white stuff is pretty to look at though, and I’m sure the kids will enjoy playing in it tomorrow. Sure wish I’d have picked up a sled when everyone else was yesterday at the local discount store, but I think I was still in denial.
My husband is out working at the hospital this weekend…I adore my hard-working husband…and his employer got some rooms at local motels for the nurses to stay in who travel a distance to get there so they could ensure everyone who needed to be there would be. Very, very nice of them, but that means Jack is there and not here. *sniff* *sniff* (Don’t tell him I did that though because he thinks I’m fine – which I am physically – but emotionally I want him here *ssshhh*). On the other hand, “this too shall pass”, the snow won’t last forever and he’ll be back home hopefully on Monday if the roads are cleared- safe and sound.
And yes, I know this post is pretty much worthless without pictures, but alas my camera is on the fritz (Hey I’d be happy to review one for your company if you are a reader from Kodak, Nikon, Canon etc haha) so you’ll have to use your imagination. Think Winter wonderland! *grin*
