Hello and welcome to the Huffmaster family web site!
We are a Christian family with six children (so far) ages 2 years to 14 years. We also have a new blessing on the way in August 2008! Jack (aka Daddy) is employed at an area hospital, while he attends the Licensed Practical Nursing program at a nearby college. You can visit his website at JackHuffmaster.Com
Dawn (aka Mama) is a stay at home mother who also has been blessed with the ability to design web sites, which she does as a hobby for friends and family. Our family resides in the beautiful Ozarks where we attend an Independent Fundamental Baptist fellowship.
We are a home educating family as well, in which we teach our children not only academics but a Biblical world view and love for the Lord, in accordance with Scripture.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9 “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.”
You might also call us a “quiverfull” family, although as of late, the news media has turned that term into something that sounds very degrading to those of us that trust the Lord to determine the size of our family. We prefer to simply call ourselves a Christian family. We are doing our best to live our lives, with the Bible as our guide, as we are instructed in Scripture. That life includes allowing the Lord to plan our family for us. He is our creator, and He knows what is best for our family.
These things are part of who we are, but not ALL of who we are, or who we will be.
