Here is part 2 of this post - (Birthday Season Part 1)

Our 3 year old turned four on August 16th, but her little sister was also born on August 16th! So now we official have 3 birthdays in August at our house.

So here is our now 4 year old opening a gift on her birthday. It was taken before the children went to my MIL’s house. She celebrated there with cake and ice cream (I’ll get pics from MIL later) and was thrilled to hear she got a baby sister for her birthday!

And the newest August birthday….our baby both August 16th!

And another lovely daughter celebrated her birthday as well turning 6 years old on August 26th. This is a very special day at our home, not only because it’s our child’s birthday, but because she was born on my grandmother’s birthday who raised me. Granny passed away in 2003, just 6 months after meeting this precious new life, but I’m so blessed that they got to meet and enjoy each other, even if for a short time. Being born on her birthday, she definitely got some of her nicest qualities. We’ll see her again one day!

WOW where did the last two weeks go? Just sharing a picture, and PS I renamed the “prenatal posts” category to “baby’s first year”.

Baby lost her umbilical cord stump AND blew out her first diaper both in the same day…yesterday to be exact. She’s most certainly some sort of infant prodigy! OK, so maybe not…it doesn’t take much to make a Mama proud though does it?! Plus I have to blog it so I’ll remember to put it in her baby book.

Also on a totally different subject but at least of equal importance…Jack (my husband) was voted employee of the month in August for the floor he works on at the hospital by the people he works with! GOOD JOB HUBBY!!! The children and I are SO very proud of you and how hard you work! You have an awesome work ethic and it shows! You’re my hero!

She was born Saturday August 16th, 2008 at 10:36 a.m. weighing 7lbs 8oz, and 20.5 inches long! Labor and delivery went great and we are both recovering well! Here are some pics of our sweet blessing from the Lord! I’ll share our birth story and such in the coming week or so I hope. LOL Right now all we’re thinking about is enjoying her!
