A Not So Average Christian Family - Living, Loving, And Learning Together
Dec 31

Jack and I found out the day after Christmas (12/26/2007) that our 7th blessing was on his or her way! We’re both very excited and thrilled that the Lord has chosen to bless us again in this very special way! Of course we had to double and triple check, but sure enough all tests are positive! I’m thinking my due date is around 9/4/2007, but it’s possible I may be a week or so further along. Time will tell for sure!

Here are my test pics, for those that love to see them. LOL

We’re also planning our very first homebirth with a very competent and sweet Christian midwife who is also a longtime friend of mine. I’ll be working VERY hard to keep my blood sugar and weight under control during this pregnancy through healthy eating and exercise. I am having quite a bit of morning sickness…OK a whole lot of morning sickness, but I’m doing OK so far. It’s all worth it that’s for sure and we are still Praising God for bestowing this blessing upon us!

Thank you for reading and rejoicing with us, as well as keeping us in your prayers!

Goodbye soon to 2007 and welcome 2008! This will be my last post of the year…woohoo! This year has been absolutely full of trials, yet just as many blessings from the Lord! So many changes, but all for the good of our family and all we feel would bring honor to our Savior in some way.

Words just cannot express the gratitude in our hearts for everything the Lord has shown us and blessed us with this year in our personal lives, as a family, and in our home! To quote a favorite hymn of mine - To God be the glory, great things He has done!

Now onto further news…my weight loss and healthy living! This year was also full of trials in that area, but I was blessed to have lost a total of 37lbs for this year. It’s not quite what I had hoped, but I’ll take it any day! My husband tells me  next time I’m at the store, pick up two 20lb bags of potatoes and see how that feels. YIKES I can’t imagine I was carrying that around! All in all though I am so happy! My health is doing so well and my strength and stamina has increased. In the new year I will continue on this journey, but probably won’t be doing measurements *wink*, just regular weigh ins and thoughts each week or so.

2008 is going to be a great year in a lot of areas of our lives, and I’m praying the same for your families as well!

Just thought I would stop in to wish all my readers and VERY Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! My wish for this season is that those in my home, our friends, and family keep Christ first in everything they do and remember the reason we have what we’ve been blessed with this year (because the Lord gave it to us), and what the holiday season is about…celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR HOME TO YOURS

I had a server crash over the weekend, so I’m having to put my blog stuff back. WARNING, if you have a website BACK IT UP REGULARLY! LOL Seems I only have the posts I made through April of 2007, so bear with me while I try and find the rest from then until now!

If any of you got my more recent posts by email and happened to save them, it would be a blessing if you could email them to me at dawn AT huffmasterfamily DOT com.  Be sure and format the email address correctly, I did it this way to ward off spam bots! If you still have the notification emails in your inbox you can simply reply to them instead.

Blessings,

Dawn
